BEREA, Ohio — The injury news got a little worse for the Cleveland Browns a day before their AFC North showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.
Tight end David Njoku was added to the team's injury report after Saturday's workout. He was listed as questionable for the game after sustaining burn injuries to his face and arm in a household accident.
Per a person familiar with the situation, Njoku sustained the injury while trying to light the firepit in his backyard. The person indicated that the tight end is doing OK.
Njoku put out his own statement on X a little after 3 p.m. Saturday saying, "The flesh is weak. See u tomorrow #DawgPound"

Njoku did not go to the hospital. Team medical personnel treated the injuries.
Njoku's agent, Malki Kawa, posted the following on X, formerly Twitter: "Thank you everyone for reaching out, but David njoku is ok, thank God."
Njoku joins quarterback Deshaun Watson on the injury report. Watson is listed as questionable for the game with an injury to his right throwing shoulder.
The Browns made two practice-squad elevations to address the injury concerns. They brought up quarterback P.J. Walker to give them a third quarterback behind Watson and rookie backup Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who would make his first career start if Watson's can't play.
Walker spent the previous three seasons with the Carolina Panthers. He appeared in 15 games with seven starts in that time, completing 131 of 228 passes for 1,461 yards and five touchdowns.
A fourth-year pro out of Temple, Walker spent the entirety of training camp with the Chicago Bears. He was signed by the Browns to the practice squad after roster cutdown day on Aug. 29.
The Browns also elevated tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden. MItchell-Paden joins Harrison Bryant and Jordan Akins as tight ends behind Njoku.
Mitchell-Paden spent all of last season on the Browns practice squad. The Florida Atlantic University product started his collegiate career at Notre Dame College in suburban Cleveland.
